Wall of Sound

Two trips to Ikea, 1 hour assembling furniture, 1.5 hours hooking up and hiding cords, .5 hours moving records, but I've finally got a suitable place for my music.  I christened the arrangement w/ side two of "Born to Run."

Absolutely perfect

It's hard to take pictures of the weather, but in contrast to yesterday, today was possibly the most perfect weather day ever recorded anywhere.  75 and sunny all day long.  About time fall got here.

Rain Showers

Here we see the water coming out of the rainspout with such force that it's hitting the concrete and spraying into the air.  It was pretty exciting for awhile there.

I changed my headlight today.  It was pretty easy.  Did I still feel pretty manly?  YUP!

Long Way From Home

Since the NFL -- who makes a hefty chunk of money from taxpayer-financed stadiums -- has decided to give DirecTV -- a service that a large number of Americans can't get even if they would like to because of their geography, etc. -- a monopoly on NFL Sunday Ticket, I get to enjoy Broncos games via the 850KOA website.  

(Actually I don't mind it that much -- the announcers are much better.  But, still, something about the situation doesn't seem right.)

I'm pretty sure we were the only people at Taco Mac who cared at all about the AFA-OU game.  But they were still nice enough to turn it on for us.

Morning Lights

I'm starting to enjoy my morning runs in Piedmont Park much more than I expected to.  It's a pretty great view -- especially when you've got the whole park to yourself!

Working Hard

This morning everyone was dragging.  So, in lieu of the afternoon core session we played Duck-Duck-Goose, hit the ice baths, and tanned for a bit.  Everyone left in much better spirits.
