I guess all I needed to get over this cold was to go for a long run -- and I blame "Again to Carthage" for being out there at all!

Essentials

iTunes and my OCD weren't getting along well today, but at least I got all sorts of essentials loaded.

Welcome Home

Considering the holiday in there, this seems like an awful lot of mail for one person.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a great idea for a holiday.  Colder this year at the cabin than down in Florida, but just as much fun.

CC kids

A mini-CC reunion w/ Ray, Rachel, and Sarah -- it was great to see them and try South American pizza, which I didn't even know existed.

Almost 24 hours after I got up, it was nice to see a bed.

Not quite no sale, but definitely the slowest day that I can remember at Phidippides.  Lots of rain and not many customers.

The Promise

So I may have mentioned that there's a new Springsteen box set out?  But I'm not sure I mentioned that it's the coolest box set ever.  And a great way to spend a Sunday.

Light in the Darkness

When your day isn't going great, definitely the best thing you can hope for is a massive Bruce Springsteen box set sitting on your front porch when you get home!  Granted, it doesn't happen often, but when it does ...

Carbo loading

Lanza's pretty excited to go to town on a huge amount of Italian food.  His plate was clean literally in about 10 minutes.  (By the way, I don't really believe in carbo loading, or at least what most people think of as carbo loading.  Just wanted to put that out there.)

Chosen profession

So if seeing this arrive from Amazon doesn't get you excited ... well, then you're probably not a track coach.

Living Right

Sometimes everything comes together:  off work early, another beautiful fall day (70's again), great trails, and no one around because they're all still at work.  That's a great Wednesday.

Run Around the Rock

The guys not running Regionals next week had a very solid end to their season at the ATC Run Around the Rock.  Early, hilly, cold, and definitely worth it.

Emory continues to be a gold mine for great signs.  This one is posted in an elevator on campus and reads "Do you think you are trapped?  Try the door open button."
