Anchor Man
Kevin Lanza had a breakout 4:22 anchor leg on the DMR which was good enough to steal a point for the Eagles at UAA's.

Sidetrip
Since we were going to dinner in Evanston, I rode the train up early and stopped by Vintage Vinyl. They had some sort of demo of "Born to Run" for $1500. It was great to just hold it in my hands.

Yogurt Tap
Sarah was in town for a conference, so we made sure to show her the finer things in Atlanta -- like Yogurt Tap.

Ode to J-Rod
At the same time that I was enjoying several of Jared's favorite things, Jared was willing himself to 120 oysters at an oyster fest. I asked him how many the winner had eaten -- it turns out there was no contest other than Jared vs. oysters/his stomach.

Philosopher King
Eric Martin randomly came into Phidippides while I was working today. It was great to see him again, and great to have a conversation with someone else who casually uses "accoutrement"-- I miss CC!

Cheesebread
Even though I couldn't decide who my heart wanted to win the game, clearly my stomach was in the Packers' corner.

Kids' Table
So we went to Ship and Anchor and the only table left was the fireplace table, which features armchairs so soft that you basically have your chin on the table -- all the better to get to your beer and burgers.
