I don't know how someone could NOT be excited to clean out their garbage disposal, but apparently Jess is one of those people. I think she was just acting like she wasn't excited.

Vermonster
A very happy and excited group, ready to tackle the Vermonster ...
20 scoops of ice cream, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, bananas, too much whipped cream, hot fudge, gummy bears and god-knows what else. Wikipedia claims 14,000 calories and 500 grams of fat, but that seems like the low end.
Ugh.

Top Flr
A really fun dinner at Top Flr. Mostly because we got to spend time with our favorite Atlanta people.

400 Madness!
I have no idea what was happening on 400, but we've got people driving the wrong way down the on-ramp, cars driving across the sidewalks to get on the road, etc. I mean, even for Atlanta it was a bad driving.

Just sad
I don't know if we were tired, lazy or just didn't care, but we ended up with the saddest dinner I can remember having. No sauce, no salad, no bread, no wine. Just ravioli and olive oil. Beach bodies here we come!

Last call
Well, we went to dinner with the Ryan boys, but I had two margaritas and forgot to take a picture with all them before they left for the Dispatch concert. So here is Jess leaving La Fonda.

Downpour
This was the result of the walk from my car to my front-door. 10 minutes later it was sunny. It actually reminded me of Colorado.

Dining in Decatur
I don't think I've ever been to Taqueria del Sol when it isn't lined out the door. But there's always seating once you get inside. Amazing.

The calvary's coming
Adding a solid transfer to an already great incoming class -- team's going to have a whole new feel next year!

Trying to be good
I thought these might be healthier than the normal peanut-butter filled pretzels than Trader Joe's. Turns out it's true, too, because you don't even want to eat these.

Post-Race Rewards
Jess ran her first 5k this morning! She summed up the thoughts of all first-time 5k runners when she exclaimed, "where the F is the 2-mile?!" But it was all worth it when we stopped at Sublime Doughnuts to celebrate.

Identity Theft
In case you're confused, I'm the one on the right. Thanks to Mom and Dad for the team effort of finding the sunglasses.

Raindrops keep fallin'
A brief moment of frustration at more dripping water from my ceiling. But I think now that it's just condensation from people running their air conditioners non-stop. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Red Eye
I hate getting on a plane when you realize it's already tomorrow where you're headed. Or at least when that place is Houston.

Hiking in OR
Between the bars and the casino we headed to the coast for a short hike w/ some great views and a pretty great radio rescue operation, as well.

Fuel Stop
Before the night's festivities, we had a biscuit with cheese, bacon, fried chicken, a fried egg and sausage gravy. Someone needs to bring this to Atlanta.

Welcome to Portland
Whether it's Oregon or Colorado or presumably other places out west -- the air just feels better, and I feel more relaxed as soon as I get there.

Popcorn movie
Planning my entertainment for the flight tomorrow. (Side note, turns out that I loaded this onto my computer in the wrong format and was therefore unable to watch it on my iPod. But it was still a good plan.)
