I'm not sure how people handled commutes before iPods and "Pardon the Interruption" and "This American Life" podcasts, but I'm glad I don't have to.

Senior Recognition

The seniors were honored at the final home track meet of the season.  The picture above represents a bunch of school records, All-Americans, UAA Championships, and a whole lot of miles, laughs, and more than a few crazy stories. 

Dream Team

A pretty excited crew about the fact that we counted all the laps in the 10k correctly this week.  Dominated.

CO exports

It's possible that this is the only thing people in Georgia know Colorado for.  And I think that's okay -- better to keep all the other great things about the state secret.

Family time

For some reason from the moment I got up today, I really really wanted to watch Sopranos.  It had been awhile, but it's still just as good as I remember it.  Definitely in the pantheon of favorite TV shows ever.

Alex Robin is ready to celebrate his birthday in style -- the same way Alex Robin does most things.

Spoils of victory

Wings, hot pretzels and cheese, and nachos combo is one of the great things about Ship & Anchor.  The fact that we're sitting in a fireplace is another great thing.

Rainy Sunday

This stack represents the work I had planned on getting done today.  It didn't happen, but I did try for a good hour or so before giving into the laziness of Sunday.

Patio weather

After a long day outside at the home meet, the patio at La Fonda was exceptional.

Fraud Squad

Four men, working at the limits of their ability ... almost pulled off the job usually done by Dr. Dro.  The good news:  everyone finished the 10k.  The better news:  we're pretty sure everyone actually ran a 10k!

Vacation Ended

After a week of vacation, I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning ... and was very excited to get right back in as soon as possible

Mission Accomplished

A very fun and relaxing Spring Break ... didn't get everything on the list done, but managed a very respectable effort.  And frankly I'm not sure my stomach could have taken any more.

Burgers!

Dobrasz and I had a man-date lunch at Atlanta's most famous burger joint.  Turns out they have a new, even BIGGER burger than their Double Bypass -- The Super-Stack Heart Attack Burger!  (Coming soon to a photo blog near you)  Today was pretty normal burgers, but still a great reminder why people should take long lunches more often.

Farmers Market

A rainy-day, mid-afternoon feast courtesy of the DeKalb Farmers Market.  Not pictured:  fresh-made sausage, aloe vera leaves, bamboo shoots, and other great things you're not going to find at Publix.

Buckhead Restaurant Week -- Nava

Blue crab and goat cheese fritters, some sort of awesome goat cheese queso, cactus enchiladas, peanut butter and chocolate mousse bars, margaritas with some sort of salt foam on top -- everything that was placed in front of us was incredible.

A lot of excitement on our street tonight as Owen Wilson was filming a new Farrelly brothers' movie at one of the houses.  They were also filming at Emory last week.  

Comfort food

Slopes may not be the best BBQ in Atlanta (it may be, too, I'm just not sure I'm qualified to make that decision), but it is darn good after a long work day.
